This is an extension which is no longer in development but is incredibly useful to make something like a support forum, where users can post topics that can not be read by anyone but whoever has permission to do so.
However, it somehow messes with phpBB search - when this extension is activated, some users (including me) have reported crippling changes in the phpBB search function - for example, say you have 100 results for a certain search, after this extension is activated the search shows up a significantly lower number of results, say 6.
Would you be interested in taking a look at this and maybe make a version of this your own?
