I saw that random user block and had this idea for a similar block, but with topics

In terms of configuration, there could be an option to choose which forums the topics would be chosen from.

In the portal display, it could display:

• topic title
• take the first image in the topic and display (There may be a configuration in the acp to indicate which bbcode the image is using)
• some information about the topic, such as author, date it was created, number of posts and number of views
